Actually, the invasion itself was not the evil, the lies and deceptions made up to get support for the invasion, plus the gross mismanagement, corruption and pisspoor planning in the aftermath of the invasion were the "evil" items.

Even worse, Bush has now delivered Iraq into Shiite hands, so it's an enormous policy blunder. Has definitely made the Middle East more dangerous and certainly emboldened Hezbollah which started the Lebanon strife.
