Skeets, Your note reminds me of my experience with Soup De Jour. It would be one of my favorite flavors except it seems to vary in content from restaurant to restaurant and even day to day. -g-

Merrill gains several ways. First, MU was their top commission stock in 1996. Second, the stock did go up quite dramatically, even if it was just a scam. Now, the brokers who brought this story to customers have them hooked and they will get an answer when they have their next hot tip. The fact that TK got the fundamentals totally wrong makes no difference. He was able to stampede the herd in his direction. 3. Merrill makes money on trading Mu. 4. Merrill gets lots of free publicity on CNBC. 5. The unholy conspiracy with major investment mgt. firms continues intact. MB
