a lawyer friend who shares our office have just returned from family holiday in israel and was at one point just half an hours drive from rocket impact zone, reports that life in tel aviv (not yet directly affected) is pretty normal, with folks going to night spots and such he also reports many of his younger relations resident there, boys and girls, are serving in the army in border regions his view is that the war is not about territory and borders, but about israel's right to exist in the geography where it was established heck of a conflict, and we agreed that it has no win and no end, until complete exhaustion
