Since both Al-Qaeda and ISrael believe is violence as a way of settling differences, I think a lot of innocent lives would be saved if these two were destroyed. Not only is there a condemnation from the UN for the deliberate killing of their personnel by the Israelis, but other countries such as India etc. have joined in the condemnation of Israel as well. This is similar to what these nations did when Al-Qaeda attacked the US.

If Israel thinks that they can go wild and kill innocent folks including UN personnel who are out to maintain peace, then Israel has thumbed its nose at peace.

And if you are talking about the overthrow of the mullahs, I think there would be greater peace if Bush and his party is thrown out in Nov. 2006. All we have done during Bush's 6 years in office is war. And the Republican Congress has supported the wars. The American people are angry at the wingers who are quietly going back into their holes fearing for their survival.
