I think Israel is pondering the thought of fighting house to house all the way to Beirut. Too many would die. I don't see a solution short of issuing an ultimatum to Hezbollah, Syria, and Iran and carrying it out when the next Israeli dies. The japanese wouldn't stop 60 years ago no matter how many battles we won and died for.
