If you live for pleasure carelessly, you assume the risks a careless lifestyle brings. I'm not for the government stepping in where people assume the risks voluntarily. People should be allowed to engage in risky activities. I love pleasure, but I also love safety. Not everyone is like me- and I'm ok with that. If they end up unhappy because they have made bad decisions, I'm sorry for them.
