I agree. The dumb shorts were partly responsible for the spikes in the past, either by heavy use of buy stops or overexposure to the position. I don't think shorts were ever "forced" to close. They closed because they could not stomach the losses anymore, or their charts told them to close. I am glad they are out of the market.
If you believe in this short, it is a short and hold.
