I don't think one can reach this conclusion very easily at this point.

The question at this point is how many people will show up to subscribe to the service. If XM's last two quarters are representative, the industry definitely has a tough climb ahead.

Neither company has ever properly marketed the product -- XM relying on OEM installs (which are coming, but too slowly) and cheap receivers, and Sirius relying solely on Howard Stern for its marketing.

If the industry growth is leveling off at this point as the Q2 numbers suggest it could be, then you and PCSTEL may be proven right. But I continue to think the rollout of large numbers of OEM installs by XM in the coming 18 months will turn the situation around. The fact is that paying customers tend not to leave the service, but getting them to the point of being a "paying customer" has been a problem for both services.
