I can't really agree with either of those statements. Certainly biased people can be dishonest, and dishonest people or statements can be stupid, but there is no inherent connection.


You can't have it both ways. If you disagree then you must believe:

Being biased is being honest. Being dishonest is being smart.

How could it be possible that being biased has nothing to do with honesty? Does it mater if you are only fooling yourself or only fooling others?

Behaving dishonestly has to be either a smart way to behave or it is not. It can't be both.

As for Fox News and the NY Times wrt journalistic integrity is of course subjective.

Do you seriously think that Fox News is noted for journalistic integrity or that there are people that are smart and/or substantive in nature also feel that way? (Please, please, people living in a parallel universe do not count)
