the only thing that makes me disagree with you is that they haven't done it yet. And if the Hezbollah start losing, what's to stop them from melting into the population? They also gave everything they wanted to the Israeli Terrorists when they held Palestine. And the British are tenacious colonizers.

Israel cannot give Hezbollah what they want, which is the total destruction of Israel. And, unlike the Mau Mau, Hezbollah can be rearmed and remanned from states not at war with Israel.

Winning is not impossible, but it will be tough. And the Israeli armed forces are a blitzkrieg raiding body. They are not designed for long crusades.
