In a note out before the open, Stanford said the new cash may only last for two more quarters. The firm does not think tentative steps will solve the VTSS saga, and says time is of the essence. They say the co is not taking the aggressive steps necessary to save it from a cash crunch. The firm believes the co is burning through approximately $15 mln in cash a quarter, which basically gives them 2 quarters until they have to return to the trough. They believe that in light of the financial situation the co skirted the issue of any customer defections or potential customer defections, saying they've heard of potential design opportunities where VTSS was in the lead, which were lost to bigger rivals.
