Off topic (Venture Stores). Do any of you have an opinion on this company? It is a midwest retailer that has been trying to reposition itself to compete more effectively in the discount retail market. The stock has been acting well over the past few weeks. Management indicated in a conference call that it will be profitable in the 4th quarter but it did not sound like they expect to earn very much. They also said that they will lose money in the current quarter but be cash flow positive. I have been disappointed with the efforts to date but feel that it does have turnaround potential. It is currently selling at 2 5/8 so any success could have a big impact on the stock price.
