TI spoke to hundreds at the Montgomery Conference yesterday.
I'm told by a fellow financial plumber who was attending that
Amati was specifically mentioned at the presentation. The
TI spokesman went on for awhile mentioning how important Amati
was for TI and that yes they were the "ADSL Pioneer and Leader"

Westell's new CEO commented that the RBOCs do want DMT. Did
you hear that Jim W? RBOCS WANT THEIR DMT!

I think the reason why Westell dropped like an anchor in the
high CAP seas is because key investors are reading between the
lines. An imminent contract announcement may not go to Westell
because they do not have a DMT solution. The likely winner?
Alcatel.

Taiwan news? I am waiting for Pat to come back online so I can
deliver the news before her eyes. When is she coming back?
