BB & JF - Thanks for the 'burn rate' explanation. I now feel I have another tool, some basis of comparison for biotechs with no earnings. AFFX at $80 a share -- I like that !! BTW, I've heard biotechs rally end of year & sell off feb/mar. AFFX is too new but INCY does show this pattern. See 5yr chart w/ sell-offs in feb 95, 96, & 97: quote.yahoo.com Any thoughts on this? Are there fundamental seasonal factors to watch ?
