Bush is taking away civil liberties all the time. Without asking or us tellus, or congress either. It's totally illegal and very impeachable, but the GOP congress refuses to police their own kind no matter how flagrant the law-breaking.

The whole debate about illegal domestic surveillance is one which conservatives should be up in arms about, the government thinking it's so above the law that they can literally do anything they want to people in the name of "war" and get away with it. I'd like to see what rightwing hypocrites think about Bush's snubbing FISA and congress after we get a democratic government back in power.
