XOMA Announces August 9 Conference Call and Webcast Discussion of Second Quarter 2006 Results

BERKELEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 2006--XOMA Ltd. (Nasdaq:XOMA - News) will issue a news release announcing its second quarter financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, on Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern (1:00 p.m. Pacific). The news release will be followed by a conference call and live webcast at 5:00 p.m. Eastern (2:00 p.m. Pacific) with XOMA management discussing second quarter financial results and providing a general business update. There will be a question and answer session at the end of the conference call.

The webcast can be accessed via XOMA's website at xoma.com and will be archived on the site and available for replay until close of business on November 7, 2006. To obtain phone access to the live audiocast in the U.S. and Canada, dial 1-877-407-9205. International callers should dial 1-201-689-8054. No conference ID is necessary. An audio replay will be available beginning two hours following the conclusion of the webcast through 11:59 pm Eastern (8:59 pm Pacific) on August 24, 2006.
