Q on irradiation:
Even with irradiation, some tests would have to be conducted to assure all harmful organisms are in fact dead. This actually is a superior method, but the media (not neccessarily the general public) doesn't understand the process and therefore has demonized it. The only danger I can even imagine is if there were heavy metal contaminants and someone ate the food within a few minutes of it emerging from the chamber. All induced radioactivity would subside within about 10 minutes. [insert standard complaint of TV anchors being $40 haircuts on $10 heads... but I digress]

I guess it was a valid question, but I would have made the distinction
that irradiation is a process to sterilize food, while NEOGs test kits determine if the food needs sterilization. The two could, in fact, be used in tandem.

In any case, it was a good quarter. Thanks for the info on the CC.

Cheers,

Rich
