genius who invaded who here.

That argument is universal. Each side picks a starting point to justify their particular action. Violence in the mid-east is going to contine until the parties let go of the past and move forward towards a reconciliation or until the last man is standing "wins".

Egypt and Jordan found some reconcilation with Israel only by letting go of the past and moving forward. Regardless of who started what in and out of Lebanon in response to what in and out of Lebanon this mess is putting the reconciliation between Egypt and Israel at risk.

The relative peace between Egypt, Jordan and Israel demonstrates that the entire Arab world does not want to destroy Israel for the sake of destroying Israel.

People make the mistake of viewing Hezbollah as an organization. It's a movement with a name. You can't destroy a movement by military action. Even if the leadership of Hezbollah were destroyed or threw in the towel, a neo-Hezbollah would emerge. A different name for the same movement.

Human beings what they are, i.e, unique, the ranks of Hezbollah and their support are intertwined with many varied justifications. There's a group that wants to destroy Israel, there's a group that wants the occupied territories to be restored, there's a group that are inflamed over Gaza, and now there's a group inflamed over the military action in Lebanon.

You destroy a movement by making the movement irrelevant. Other than the destruction of Israel, everything else is resolvable. Once the other issues are seen to be justly resolved the movement to destroy Israel becomes irrelevant and dies with lack of oxygen.
