here is a post someone else made on another chat board:

Hi all....

I was told a few weeks ago that there was a directors' meeting scheduled to be completed by July 28, and a number of plans and Q2 results would be discussed and signed off on as to getting things rolling on the development side, and Q2 financials published.

There's really nothing much more to say, other than the last time I spoke with Tom, there were time frames for developments that did not occur as scheduled. I am also somewhat disappointed by this lack of follow through by the company, but there may also have been other things come up subsequent to the information that Tom supplied me. Plans can and do change. For example, a recent news release stated the company purchased alot of data on a couple of the company's San Juan Gold Mines prospective properties. Perhaps Century has needed more time to go through this apparently substantial amount of sampling data before making any further announcements regarding their exploration and upcoming drilling campaign. Plus we also know they are awaiting drill permits as well.

Someone recently asked which company it was that CMM purchased this data in Peru from,.... and I will hazard to say, based on a best guess on my part only, and from what I have heard about an Australian company from other sources outside of Century Mining, it was one of the three companies mentioned in this post I made shortly after the AGM.

stockhouse.ca

There's only one Australian company mentioned in that post I made reporting on the AGM presentation, that is Newcrest Mining. That's my best guess only. This is only my best guess as it is from my putting two and two together from other sources outside of Century Mining.

I have mentioned to Tom many, many times that the website was very outdated and lacking in many respects. It does look somewhat "shoddy" now. The video that we saw as part of the company's presentation at the AGM should have been on the website by now, perhaps with an overdubbing of English commentary, as Peggy provided during the viewing of this video at the AGM. Tom has mentioned to me a few times more recently, that there are plans in process for a complete revamping of the website, however, I'm also getting a little ticked off about the follow through on this committment to get the damned website updated as well.

I am not souring on this play at all, I have always realized that this is going to be a long term investment. Based on alot of information I have managed to glean from sources outside of Century Mining over the past six months, Century Mining is most likely sitting on at least two "elephant" sized gold deposits of at least 10 million ounces each and one very large potential poly-metallic deposit. The company that sold CMM the 43-101 compliant data was negotiating to buy out SJGM when Peggy was presented the opportunity as well. Good ole Peggy, seems to have pulled another rabbit out of the hat with her shrewd negotiating talent by picking up SJGM. Alot of people I have spoken with in the industry that I have come to know throughout the years, from stock promoters, investors, money managers, and mining execs all agree that Peggy is a very good negotiator, and that she does have the "angels" to back her financially if and/or when she's ready to pull the trigger on any acquisition, merger or major capital expenditure.

Patience is definitely required with this investment. Peggy calls all the shots, so when Peggy's ready to do things, developments will happen, not before.

One other item, I also have a map that I obtained at PDAC this past March and based on the information I have received from both Tom at Century Mining, and some other sources not associated with CMM, I believe I can clearly see exactly where CMM's property is. Not too far off the Ocana River, if, as Tom has told me that Teck surrounds CMM on three sides. BHP Billiton also holds a good deal of property in the nearby area to the east/southeast of Teck. Teck and BHP have substantial property holdings showing on this map that the Northern Miner put out in January of 2006. In fact it appears to me that Teck and BHP hold most of the property along what I thnk they believe may be a mineralized belt or trend.

Good luck to all, and please try to have some patience with this company, we all know the potential and it is hard to sit here and wait, but if one looks back at the accomplishments over the past year or so, this company has made some very solid progress, even though they have not met some of their targetted production projections. Now with the new trucks arriving and beginning to operate in the Sigma Pit, the current development work on the underground Lamaque Mine, and the vast potential from only the San Juan Gold Mine itself (not even looking at the other 4 known propsects) I do believe that when people look back a year from now, they will wonder just what the h e l l they were complaining about.

I'm hearing that the gold grades in the rock some of the informal miners are delivering to the mill are measuring in ounces per tonne, not grams. So the question I have is,.... just where are these informals digging that rock from...??? It has to be near surface doesn't it, based on how these informals mine and the equipment they use.

Best of luck all, and ciao for now."
