No rockets were fired from Beirut. It's too far away for those small rockets. They are firing them from southern Lebanon, that's where the defensive measures should be taken. Why hundreds of innocents in Beirut? Bomb their new bridge? Blow up the airport? That was just spite and anger.

Israel's objective is security, I understand that. But the airport need not be bombed. Israel controls the air space already. No plane can land in Beirut without Israel letting them. Cargo from Syria, if that is a concern could be controlled at the mountain passes. Easily disabled or blockaded without destroying an important transportation link which cost millions to build.

All of their objectives could have been met without the totally unbalanced retaliation.

If you can't see that then you are blind. There must be something more to this massive retaliation. There seems to be no end in sight. Many innocents killed. This is wrong AS, and you should know it.
