If you look at the last week, then look month back into the periods that occurred in the rise that resulted in the current plunge, I know I can't see a difference. This could as well be the beginning of a new bull as the continuation of the current bear. This isn't criticism; this is an honest question. What do you see that I am missing?

One fly in the the ointment is the beginnings of an inverted yeild curve.

The problem is we went through probably half the rise of the '90s bubble with an inverted curve with no ill effects till the crash after years of that inversion. Let's say I have become at least an agnostic as to the value of that as an indicator.
