The truth hurts.

So many would rather view the world through tinted lenses tainted by a herd mentality. The mid east situation and policy for the US has grown into a greater debacle than previously thought. How many Marines did we lose back in the early 80's trying to be the big police sargent in that region? We now again support in similar stance agreeing to a multi-national peace keeping force. Granted,we this time will not commit occupational forces...sic.
Who the hell are we to decide the fate of so many lives outside our protective boarders. Strive we do to improve our foreign relations and ask not who it may concern,as if we really cared enough what others may think. In the end it is only a foreign policy by election every four or more years that never has had a clear mandate. Elections we agree to support but view with tinted lenses. It is a damn shame the direction I fear we head toward.

Now,where did I leave that cocktail...
