I note that the proposed Lebanese conditions for peace talks do in fact stipulate Sheba Farms as an issue of contention.

Yadda, yadda.. yadda.. The UN has ALREADY stated that Shaba farms belong to Syria and over-ruled Lebanon's claim several years ago.

What's next? Do they claim the entire Golan Heights? What about parts of N. Israel??

But hey.. if Syria is willing to concede Shaba Farms to Lebanon, so much the better...

But as it currently stands, its a "red herring" aimed at deflecting attention from the FACT that Lebanon has permitted a rogue milita to usurp the foreign policy of Lebanon.
