The fact that Iran is ready to do the same at home precludes any thought of invasion, even from the nuttiest neocons.

And that the Hezbollah/Iraqi resistance model will be copied and copied.

It's one more signal that US occupation of Iraq is out of the question, even the obvious present plans to have long term bases in Iraq to protect oil resources. I don't see that as viable now. And wonder when and if the Bush folk or their successors will see so as well.
