The more I dig into VIASPACE the better it looks for an investment and not a trade.

Their subsidiary Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Corp. inked a deal with Seed------->

Seed Corporation is on track to manufacture 200 million printer and copier toner cartridges in 2006 for tier one electronic equipment manufacturers.

DMFCC focuses on producing disposable methanol fuel cartridges that will provide the energy source for laptop computers, cell phones and other portable electronic devices to be powered by direct methanol fuel cells. These fuel cell powered devices are expected to be introduced into the marketplace by major electronic product manufacturers in 2007. Fuel cartridges are expected to represent a recurring revenue source.

*** Patent filed for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Humidity Measurement Instrument which has already received orders:

The VIASPACE laser based system has significant advantages over other humidity measuring techniques such as a wet bulb thermometer, a resistive polymer sensor, a capacitive sensor or a chilled mirror.

Dr. Carl Kukkonen, VIASPACE CEO, reports, "VIASPACE believes that its humidity measuring instrument is far superior to competing approaches, and this patent application is intended to protect our competitive advantage. The concept behind this instrument was originally developed at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory to measure water vapor in the atmospheres of Earth and Mars. The technology came VIA the SPACE program."

Previously VIASPACE has reported a commercial order for five of its humidity measuring instruments to Fuel Cell Technologies .....this has BIG TIME signifigance because it's only the tip of the iceberg as the demand in this sector is becoming overwhelming.Look at what this device is being used for:

The FCT testing station incorporates a myriad of advanced features including AC Impedance to quickly and accurately measure real and imaginary components of cell resistance.

The performance of hydrogen fuel cells using a Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) depends on the moisture level of the membrane. The membrane only conducts protons when it is hydrated or moist. The moisture is provided by water vapor in the incoming air or hydrogen stream. The VIASPACE instrument will provide real-time measurements of the amount of water vapor in these gas streams.

Fuel Cell Technologies CEO, Chuck Derouin reports, "Our current test stations include the ability to humidify the air and hydrogen gas streams into the fuel cell. With the VIASPACE instrument, we will be able to directly measure the humidity level in real-time. This should help our customers optimize their fuel cell designs."

*** Can you say....monster growth potential? ***
