I'm sorry. You just can't be pleased. You thought it wouldn't be treated as a hate crime, and it is being treated as a hate crime- if you read the article you would see police AND FBI are treating it as one. Now you're switching to something else. I have to tell you, the pique in your posts isn't terribly convincing. Maybe you're getting through to other people, but I doubt it. I'm not sure a white man going in to a Mosque would be handled that much differently. After all, if you are an intelligent reader, the first thing you think is "mental patient"- when a quiet "loner" does something, no matter what color he is. While I'm glad it's being treated as a hate crime, I'd bet in this case, as in many other cases of hate crimes (including a couple of the black on white hate crimes) there is an element of mental illness here.
