Prosecutors have until August 2 to charge him- his charges, as the article said, were "pending"- that means he has not been charged yet. So it would be incorrect for you to say he is "being charged" with X, Y, or Z, at this point. Police and FBI are labeling it a hate crime, as I said- that will, no doubt, have some influence with the prosecutors. The article mentions ALL of this. So let's wait and see what he is actually charged with before we do the big "WHY???" ok? gosh. I thought you'd be so pleased police and FBI labeled it a hate crime. Oh well.
