Hi-Shear Announces Fiscal Year 2006 Earnings
Friday July 28, 6:15 pm ET

TORRANCE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 2006--Hi-Shear Technology Corporation (AMEX:HSR - News) today announced results for its fiscal year ending May 31, 2006. Revenue and Gross Margin for the year were $21,052,000 and $7,712,000, respectively, compared to $16,076,000 and $5,217,000 for the same period last year. Net Income for the fiscal year ending May 31, 2006 was $2,295,000, or $0.34 per share, compared to $215,000, or $0.03 per share, for the same period last year.

Product revenues increased 31% during the fiscal year 2006 to $21,052,000 compared to $16,076,000 in the fiscal year of 2005, and were driven by growth in the use of the Company's products in national defense systems, tactical weapons, and satellites. Through the utilization of an expanded workforce in fiscal year 2006, production activities increased during the year to meet increased customer orders for Hi-Shear's unique electronic and pyrotechnic devices. The Company serviced over sixty-five separate space and defense projects during the year with space applications continuing to be the largest area of product use. Products manufactured for deployment in national missile defense and tactical weapons, both in the United States and abroad, continued to grow and were the largest factor in the increase in revenues.

Any thoughts here? If it was worth 4.00@.o3/share, how much is it worth @ .34/share? 35.00 to 40.00? I think at least 16.00 in the short term
