What end do you see for Israel here Nadine? They seem to look worse every day, and seem to unable militarily to stop Hezbollah, even while inflicting heavy civilian casualties in Lebanon

You have just summarized post modern war, where any battle that takes longer than a week is a loss or a "quagmire.". Unless you are a terrorist - they get forever.

Hizbullah is using civilians as human shields. They put rocket launchers next to shelters and UN posts, hoping for a result like today, which was a lucky day for them. They do not value the lives of civilians, and say so.

Israel is grimly determined to clear out Hizbullah. Right, Left and Center. They will continue. They know they cannot afford to project weakness now.
