Your statement is true but it has nothing to do with what shres is claiming. Remember we are talking about Hulbert constructing a Hypothetical portfolio using index funds for when Brinker is invested in the stock market and treasury rates when he is out of the market. Shres is claiming that Brinker's fund selections beat the index funds Hulbert used for the time Brinker was in the market. I am highly skeptical of that claim. Your statement above compares Brinker's P1 and P2 to the index for the last five year. I hope you understand the difference.
