Theresa Heinz is very different from Laura Bush. But frankly, I could care less about either of them. Laura has made almost no difference to policy at all. She has not done much of anything in fact except smile in a demure fashion and make Bush look better because unlike Bush, she's not an A-hole.

Heinz-Kerry could be another Eleanor Roosevelt. She could make a major positive difference. But she doesn't fit any of the molds. She is an original.

Bushies who attack her for being outspoken should also remember Barbara Bush has a big mouth. And Barbara is a much more mean-spirited person than Theresa. Also Bushies conveniently forget they wre trying to get her run for Senate as a Republican in 1992. In other words, Bushies aere hypocrites as usual, smearing someone just because they're an opponent and for no other reason.
