SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 24, 1997-- Samsung's Information & Telecommunications Division and Osicom Technologies Announce New Distribution Agreement
Osicom Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:FIBR), today announced a new distribution agreement with Samsung's Information & Telecommunications Division, the largest corporation in Korea. Through this agreement, Osicom becomes one of Samsung's leading suppliers of high-end networking products for distribution throughout Korea. Samsung will now distribute Osicom's broad range of products including LAN/WAN networking products, RF products and high-end broadband products. Samsung's immediate focus is to offer a complete remote access solution featuring Osicom's new IQX-200 Remote Access Server, and ROUTERmate and NetHopper product families. In addition, Samsung will market Osicom's GigaMux (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexer) for fiber backbone applications. Armed with Osicom's GigaMux and IQX-200, Samsung will target Korea Telecom and numerous Korean government agencies.
