I'm interested in the interactions between genetic evolution and cultural evolution. Effectively, cultures are environments, and apply selection pressures. Maybe the reverse is true too - different genetic tendencies lead to different cultures. One of the interesting topics is religion. Apparently the religious gene (so to speak) is quite widespread. There has to be a reason for this.
