I've tried to minimize my criticism of Israel. Without question there are many anti-semitic people in the world (look at Mel Gibson's comments). That makes Israel different from the South African situation. We could criticize South Africa's policies (and I have problems today with their treatment of some minorities) and we didn't have to worry about stirring up any anti-Afrikaner bigotry. We do have to be careful of stirring up anti-semitic bigotry when we criticize Israel's policies. I think we need to remember that and be careful. This is not a criticism of any of your posts.
