LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 31, 2006--Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select Market: SHFL) announced today that it has been awarded the first Delaware State Lottery System multi-terminal video lottery machine contract which will result in placements of up to 44 units, or 220 seats, of its Table Master electronic table game platform. The five-player units installed in the state's three lottery venues will provide a mix of blackjack and poker-based gaming content, with initial installations being completed during the fourth calendar quarter of 2006. An electronic multiple-player table game, Table Master combines a video dealer and exciting player interaction with fully-automated table game play. Featuring several of Shuffle Master's proprietary table game titles including Three Card Poker®, Let It Ride Bonus® with 3 Card Bonus(TM) and Royal Match 21(TM) Blackjack, Table Master offers greater flexibility in game wager amounts while nearly doubling the number of hands played per hour compared to traditional live table games.
"We are pleased that the Delaware State Lottery has selected Table Master as its multi-terminal video lottery machine of choice," stated Mark L. Yoseloff, Shuffle Master's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Through both internal development and several strategic acquisitions, Shuffle Master is now emerging as a leader in this growing product category. There are over 500 Table-Master seats already in operation, both in traditional casinos and in racinos, and including both traditional games such as blackjack and proprietary content, such as Three Card Poker. As we now introduce Table Master to Delaware's gamers we are confident that they will appreciate its exciting game play and popular game titles."
"The Table Master platform's diverse range of popular table game content will significantly augment the gaming experiences currently offered at our Delaware Park, Dover Downs and Harrington Raceway venues, and we look forward to the initial installations," stated Delaware State Lottery Director Wayne Lemons. |
