Yeah.. was having a conversation about this with a hill staffer who works for a Florida representative yesterday down in Georgetown. There have been some proposals on the hill with the thinking that the US may have to lift the embargo agaist Cuba so that US oil drilling companies have the ability to bring their technology to Cuba in order to have some measure of influence as to what is used in the Cuban drilling..

This is going to be very controversial.. but not anymore than the Castro's turning into another Hugo Chavez style government, fueled and revitalized by oil revenue..
