They don't want to do those sorts of jobs and don't have to at the moment.... from the description though they might find themselves rather poor in a few years time though. Maybe they will need to do those jobs at age 70, because if you start Social Security at age 62 it really doesn't pay much and looks like they are running down their other savings already. Or maybe they have it all worked out...
