I don't think Landis is especially responsible for answering that question at all. Lance won seven in a row, Indurain five. These guys never tested high. Landis won-lost-won-lost DAILY, until the final 2 days. Not an especially remarkable record for one tour at all.

Sorry if all this is too far OT for you guys discussing the usual daily bloodbath/outrage.
