Well, possibly. But that's when one goes to a chilled cider, or better still a beer designed to taste good when cold, e.g. Discovery or Summer Ale from Fullers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fullers - their own website is framebased so unhelpful to link to). I'm on expert ground here <g> If you're going to just drink something cold, for the sake of cold, go for a soft drink. Try this... - empty pint glass - finger's-width of lime cordial - large splash of angostura bitters - add ice to taste - fill with soda water. Much more interesting than most sodas and not so sweet.
