Did you actually READ MY POSTS? I said there is no communism or free markets in the real world.

Well, I don't know if can confess to deeply analyzing anything you write because it leads to narcolepsy..

You like to play with words in such a manner that it completely destroys the meaning behind them, or become complete irrelevant to the discussion at hand..

So if we're going to play "semantical games", then yes.. there is not such thing as a "pure" political ideology that exists anywhere but on a theoretical level.

There's only human motivation which I've cynically found leads one to discover that "power", both negative and positive", is the sheer basis of human existence. Power equates to security, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

And power, or its pusuit, need not be always negative. There is the power of love as well as the power of hate. There is the power of giving, as well as the power of taking. There is the power of helping, as well as the power of hurting. Good versus evil, in essence.

Communism cannot tolerate true democracy, nor capitalism (because then it becomes fascism) because democracy means having to market ideals and win votes to the people being governed. It also means opposition parties.

Democratic states, which have established a strong Rule of Law and constitutional bill of rights protecting individual rights can harness Capitalism to its economic advantage.

Oligopolies only occur where the rule of law/bill of rights is not actively applied, or does not really exist.

I will also add that a vibrant, objective, and independent media is critical to democracy and avoiding oligopoly (as well as Aristrocracies, Theocracies, and just about all other kinds of 'ocracy except for Democracy.

Have we achieved that yet so perfection? Nope. Is democracy always a work in progress? Yep.

But is it the only truly legitimate form of country?

Absolutely!!

Now class is dismissed.. except for you Geode.. You still owe me two years worth of detention..

You can spend it writing "Amercia is not a Fascist country" until I get tired..
