I think Israel has NO choice at this point but to go in and clear out Hezbollah from ALL Southern Lebanon and hope some countries are willing to send troops in with an offensive capability that will keep Hezbollah at bay in that area.

Anybody on this board or any other that thinks that Israel shouldn't press this thing must think that THEY wouldn't mind having missiles fired into their neighborhoods.

Being in the U.S. where we have never had to be subject to terrorist attacks we seem to treat the nations that do sort of like "chess pieces" that can be moved from here to there and strategize to find some elusive checkmate to end their problems.

EXCEPT after 9/11 when we went after Afghanistan and took them out completely because we were ticked and we wanted to get the guys that did it and the government that supported them.

Israel is going through 9/11 EVERY day, with the only difference being that these guys are firing inaccurate rockets and not commercial jets. If they could luck out and kill 3000 Israelis with one rocket they would be cheering about it. If Hezbollah doesn't get put down by Israel, then it's just a matter of time before they get the wherewithal to kill 3000 or more per strike from Iran.
