"Do you support the bombing in Lebanon?"

I see you have picked one of the straws to use as a root cause of the poor camel's collapse.

The situation in the ME involves an entangled history that does not lend itself to siding with a right cause against a wrong cause. Those that take sides at this point are doing so out of concern for self interest, not as a matter of principle.

Your question reverts back to the discussion we've already covered about dealing with the thief. A general principle which requires creative consideration and action for the billions of practical situations that could take place. So I will cover it again attempting greater clarity on the issue.

We can establish a general principle of 'love thy neighbor as thyself' or 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you'; and apply that principle to the ME. The premise underlying such principles is that the individual feels good about his own situation and would promote that same well being for their brethren across the fence. This is not the case, since the entities on both sides of the fence feel set upon and 'out of love'. So they are incapable of acting upon principle that presumes an a priori state of love.

You can condemn the actions of either side by disregarding the entangled history and establishing a loyalty to one side or the other based on your interests to do so. In your case it is in your interest to throw your support behind Hesbollah because that bolsters the Hate Bush rant, as you have been conditioned to do in all situations or circumstance. I disagree with that agenda but that doesn't automatically put me on the other side. You folks who are conditioned to see all things as a partisan forced choice, which does not apply to me.

The conflict between Israel and its current enemy (Hesbollah, not Lebanon as you imply) is beyond my concerns for loyalty to either entity. The bombings of enemies in this military conflict is a mutually inclusive matter that I am not a party to.

Bottom line is, your question doesn't have a context that I could have an opinion about. You could have given the question a context that was principle based instead of politically motivated but you didn't. If you had said "do you support bombing innocent Lebanese civilians to weaken the resolve of the Hesbollah?" I would have said no. Your broader question is much too obviously politicized for me to give a hoot about.
