[ No Not Datek ] This specific order was through NDB, not Datek. The people at NDB are idiots, but they generally get marketable orders filled within a few seconds of the open since they use traditional market makers. At 9:28 ASTM was a cross market with 9 11/16 bid and 9 5/8 ask. I placed a limit sell at 9 5/8, but of course it opened at 9 1/2 and went straight down. Around 10:20 the price was back up and I got my fill. If it had opened at 9 5/8, I'm fairly sure NDB would have gotten my order filled. On the other hand, Datek usually cannot get an order filled from 9:30-9:35 since Island is so overwhelmed. Are you still in ASTM?
