Four main things that could happen when a party moves to the center might be labeled I have no idea why this response, Tim. Any chance you would like to contribute something to the discussion Dale and I were having as to the varied fortunes of Lieberman and McCain in their search for a center in American politics as of this moment? Lieberman looks to be getting the stuffing beaten out of him in Conn for doing so; McCain seems to get points for doing so (assuming folk in the center are looking the other way while he courts the Falwells of the world).
