Castro will have outlasted the US and all the yammering by the expats.

I'm a little confused why all the talking heads are declaring Castro nearly dead. Is the news cycle that slow? Fidel isn't getting quite as much coverage as Mel Gibson, but at least the news media has more to go on with Mel than they do Fidel.

If the media has some additional information on Fidel's health they are not letting on to what it is.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Fidel drops. Curious about what Raul might do, but I'm more curious if there's a big emigration movement out of Cuba after Fidel's death, what will Bush do?

He might let them all into FL for Jeb to take care of, or he might have the Coast Guard shoot them all as a terrorist threat.
