I think part of the problem is jealousy because the Jews have turned that patch of ground into a thriving oasis. Industry, agriculture, culture, ,,,a real presence. There has been plenty of research on the subject of happiness [country]. The annual report was just released in the last month or two. General happiness has no correlation to what other countries have or what possessions one has. They've found that some of the happiest peoples in the world are living in dirt poor countries. There are some minimum requirements like the ability to feed your family. War can bring your day down, but the blue tooth capable cell phone and big screen TV doesn't do a lot for happiness.
