I'm surprised you haven't had the tensioner on the timing chain go with that mileage. It should have a 22R, those motors are great except for that little issue.

You are correct about the 22R engine, which I understand is legendary among mechanics.

No problem with the tensioner so far, knock on wood.

At its age, I drive it only occasionally now, but it always starts right up and purrs.

(I did have to replace the catalytic converter and tailpipe a while back, now that I think about it.)

I figure folks who drive anything else do so just because they've never tried a Toy.
