Biotechnic, Several have inquired about the private E-Mail on the JNJ/AGN acquisition. One of the E-Mailers read this board and gave me permission to post one of the E-Mails. He did ask that his E-Mail address be left off (which I would be glad to explain via E-Mail):

Henry,

I've been reading your posts on AOL with much intrigue. I contacted a close friend of mine this afternoon (position deleted) at JNJ - (department deleted) inquiring into the AGN rumor. He said that AGN came up several tmes this week in his meetings. He got the feeling that the deal was a foregone conclusion. So your other sources appear to be correct on this deal going through. My buddy did not have any idea re: an announcement "time," but assumed it would be soon.

I sent this info to you directly and not on the board as I have never posted anything there and did not want to appear as a grandstanding, rumor bug. Best of luck.

As I have posted previously, the E-Mailer has no prior track record with me, and of course I also know nothing about his friend. However, the information is consistant with the various reasons I mentioned previously regarding a buyout by JNJ. To me, a JNJ buyout makes sense for many reasons, including their interest in retinoids.
