Total BS. GW Bush is a failed president who deliberately lied to mislead us into war, then used that war and the lingering post 9-11 fears to steal our democracy at home and reward his big corporate cronies at everyone else's expense.
Bush hasn't delievered "liberty" to Iraq, he's delivered civil war, corruption, chaos, bloodshed and heartache. Many smart people are now starting to miss Saddam Hussein. That's how bad it is.
Bush has also delivered the same disasterous consequcnes to our own military, over 20,000 casualties, total frustration, no endgame or clear point to it all, and no escape.
Also, thanks to Bush's "don't tax the rich" credo, the whole war is 100% debt spending, which could very well cause the same kind of inflationary recession the Vietnam War did when the bill came in during the Carter years. Also, Bush's war has helped double gasoline prices and badly hurt the US's reputation around the world. And if he does anything about Iran gas prices will soar even higher, so we could get exactly what hit us during the Carter years, but WE will have caused it, not the Israeli 6 Day War and Arab Embargo. |
