..on the other hand, if the Islamists had precision-guided missles, F-15s, tanks and gunship helicopters, they would not have to resort to such crude acts of defiance. They could just take their beef directly to the colony of Isra'El and we here in the United States would not be at risk. As far as the Islamists wanting to destroy the "haves" (and democracy), seems preposterous. What the Islamists are doing in the Middle East, is throwing off the yoke of colonialism; Isra'El being the last standing colony in the world. I think this idea of wanting to destroy freedom, democracy and the side issue of terror, is just propaganda. Much of the terror in the Mideast is a direct result of America's foreign policy vis a vis Isra'El. len
